Beacon: Book 2 in the Ronos Trilogy – The Book Blurb

Here is the book blurb that will appear on the back cover of Beacon: Book 2 in the Ronos Trilogy.

Now that Mac Narrad knows the truth about the war he knows there is little chance of survival, unless he gets to Ronos. Mac must lead those he can trust to Ronos and keep his newfound power out of General Zinger’s hands while trying to save his friend Lynn Ryder who he was forced to leave behind.

Fighting against an enemy even more duplicitous than he ever thought Mac must escape the front line of the war, search for allies to go to Ronos, and try to figure out where Janelle Stewart has been taken. Humanity is close to extinction. Mac knows how to even the odds but will he be able to make it in time?

Beacon’s blurb was way harder to write than the one for Catalyst. Mostly because I wanted to tell you guys what was going to happen in book 2 but I didn’t want to spoil book 1 for people shopping on Amazon.

This blurb also leaves out a lot. There is a whole new story line full of new characters for you guys to enjoy. That story line was tons of fun to write, by the way. I think you’ll really like it. For the blurb I just wanted to focus on what Mac was up to.

The Inciting Incident of the second book is only hinted at in the blurb. The thing that upsets the balance in Mac’s life has to do with the word duplicitous. He spends the rest of the book coming to terms with the duplicitous revelation.

Check back tomorrow for more Beacon reveals.
