Friday night there is going to be a talent show. I’m in it. The truth is that I don’t really have very many talents you can sit down and watch. Is there anyone that wants to watch me write? The only thing entertaining about that is that if I am listening to music then I might sing along and if it’s Our Lady Peace then I’ll really get into it.
Writting is not really a talent show tallent. That left me with two other options. Juggling or magic.
I learned to juggle in grade 12 while
procrastinating studying for my bio 30 diploma exam. I got an 80 on the test and learned to juggle four balls. After the test was over, the urge to juggle all the time left with it so I don’t remember all the cool tricks that I knew before.
That left the only other option: magic. Not just any magic. The magic I learned from my dad.
It’s a charished childhood memory but now when I think back on it I’m not sure why he had to do it so much. Was Rosemary that in love with the Hall magic? The best part, or at least my favorite part, was the music. It’s impossible to explain in one blog post but I’ll try and snag some video of it tomorrow. The music is a key part of the magic. You could even argue it is the source of the magic.
It’s going to be awesome.
Not just because I get to make a fool out of myself but because I am just one person in the talent show. I love the people who are part of this and I know they are crazy talented. I’m excited to see what they come up with.
I’ll do my best to get a video up as soon as possible.
Also, this was my first post done completly on my iPod. Let me know if something went weird.
